Study Spaces in The Hague

Need to get some work done and you just can't concentrate at home?

There are plenty of quiet and accessible study spaces in and around the university for you to be productive.

Here is a list of the best spaces to study:

Wijnhaven Library
  • Dedicated quiet area to study.
  • Utilities: Computers, Outlets at each table, access to printer.
  • Please note that food and drinks (other than water bottles) are prohibited in the Library
Inspiration Lab
  • Located between the cafeteria and the library in Wijnhaven
  • Utilities: Outlets at each table, access to printer and vending machines
  • Can be quite noisey at times
Silent Area (1st Floor)
  • Dedicated quiet area to study.
  • Utilities: Outlets at most (but not all) tables, access to printer and vending machines
  • Has very comfy booths for up to 4 people
Book Your Own Room
  • Book a classroom for yourself and your friends
  • Can only be booked on the same day, you have to be at least 5 people (officially)
The Beehive (4th floor, “Bee Quiet!”-area)
  • Dedicated quiet area to study
  • Utilities: Computers, Outlets at each table, access to printer and vending machine

Computer Rooms
  • Parallel to the Inspiration Lab
  • Only available if no class is currently occupying them, cannot be booked. An Overviews of scheduled classes are posted on the doors .
  • Utilities: Computers and outlets
Schouwburgstraat
  • 5 minute walk from Wijnhaven Campus
  • Has open space, as well as classrooms
  • Utilities: Outlets at most (but not all) tables, access to printer and vending machines
Stichthage
  • Located in the office building inside Central Station
  • Utilities: Outlets at each table, access to printer
  • May be hard to find initially, please ask your peer mentors to direct you
Municipality Library
  • 5 minute walk from Wijnhaven Campus
  • Study spaces located on the top floor
  • Usually very quiet
